Not really active on here anymore

I think it's time to fess up to it. I've really lost interest and faith in DA. It's just not what I want and need as an artist right now. It's just too VAST and HUGE a site, there's no one on one with those that like my artwork. It feels too impersonal, yanno? It's a giant compliment generator.

I'll still update artwork every once and a while, but DA just isn't the place it used to be for me. I guess I'm just trying to explain why I'm never here. *shrugs*

Yeah, I agree, it's not very... great anymore. But still, it's the only place I display my art so I might as well just keep it up, it's easy to link people to to say "hey, here's my art". If you find something better, let us all know

Honestly, I'm all about Furaffinity these days. I mean, I'm not leaving DA or anything.. I just find it hard to be active here lol.

I've got an account I update on FA (furaffinity) regularly. It's the same name as this account.

I know it's not for everyone, but FA is fine for me.

Eh, I'll still upload here I guess.. but just not as much as I really produce. From now on only polished pieces go here.

It is pretty true about the comments. DA is trying to get more people to critique by adding a critique feature were you have to type more than 100 words but that is only for subscribers.

DA really isn't the greatest place for critiques anymore, but I got my first critique on a piece not that long ago and I was really happy.

but it isn't, and a lot of people aren't that fair anymore either. I've read too many journals from people I watch telling the people that watch them to quit demanding certain art from them because people seem to think that we should only draw what THEY like. Luckily I myself haven't gotten anything like that, but it still makes me mad that people think artists are machines.

Sorry, kind of went on a semi-rant. Anywho, you do what YOU feel you need to do, kay? it's all about what you want and need, and the true fans will support you regardless.
